How to RSVP
The RSVP form has eight questions – all in Danish, so here’s a quick translation of what they are. You can fill in the form once, either for yourself or on behalf of the people on your invitation.
The first “question” (image below) asks for your email address in case we need to reach you about any changes or questions.
The first 3 questions are:
Gæst 1 – Fulde navn = Full name of first guest
Evt. gæst 2 – Fulde navn = Full name of second guest (only put something there if you’re filling out for multiple people. Otherwise leave it blank)
S.U. = RSVP. The options are:
Vi glæder os til at komme til bryllup d. 13. maj = We are looking forward to celebrating your wedding with you on May 13th
Vi kan desværre ikke komme = Unfortunately, we are unable to attend
We will be at the hotel Friday May 12th and hope you will consider joining us for the whole weekend. We will book all the rooms and pay for the stay from Saturday to Sunday. If you wish to arrive Friday we will book your room for the whole weekend and you will settle the bill for Friday to Saturday night with the Hotel on arrival.
In either case we need to know when you plan to arrive and that is question 5. The options given are:
Vi ankommer fredag d. 12. og overnatter til søndag (og betaler overnatning fredag til lørdag) = We will arrive Friday the 13th and stay until Sunday (and cover the cost of Friday to Saturday night)
Vi ankommer lørdag d. 13. og overnatter til søndag = We will arrive Saturday the 13th and stay until Sunday
Andet = Other (you can use this to let us know if you have different arrival or departure plans)
Finally we need to let the venue know about any food allergies and dietary restrictions which are the last few questions.
Question 6 is about food allergies, please write the name(s) of the person(s) and what they are allergic to. If no allergies leave the field blank.
Question 7 is about dietary restrictions, please write the name(s) of the person(s) and their dietary restrictions. If no restrictions, leave the field blank.
Question 8 simply asks if there is anything else we should know. (Andet vi skal vide?)
